Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened a special and final opportunity for students who could not complete the registration and permission application process for the Bihar Board Intermediate and Matric annual examinations 2027.

According to the board's notification, the final registration window will remain open from August 18 to August 22, 2026. Eligible students who missed the earlier registration deadline can complete the required process during this period through their respective educational institutions.

Students registering during the special window will be required to pay the prescribed registration fee along with the applicable late fee.

Bihar Board Registration 2027: Inter and Matric

The heads of eligible educational institutions have been instructed to complete the online registration and permission application process for students through the BSEB portals.

School and college authorities will also have to verify the students' details, signatures and required documents before submitting the registration. The signed pre-filled declaration form must also be uploaded as part of the process.

For the Bihar Board Intermediate Annual Examination 2027, heads of educational institutions can complete the registration and fee payment through the BSEB Intermediate portal using their institutional user ID and password.

For the Matric Annual Examination 2027, heads of recognised schools can complete the registration and fee payment through the BSEB secondary education portal using their institutional login credentials.

Bihar Board Matric Registration 2027: Fee Details

BSEB has specified different fee structures for regular and independent category students registering for the Matric examination during the final window.

The total fee for regular category students is Rs 450, while independent category students have to pay Rs 580. The amount includes the online registration application fee, data entry fee, registration fee and applicable late fee.

Independent candidates also have to pay a permission fee of Rs 130.
