Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the results of the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination 2026 along with the Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) First-Year (2025–27) and Second-Year (2024–26) training session examinations. Candidates who appeared for the examinations can now download their scorecards by logging in with their Application ID and Date of Birth on the official DElEd portal. The DElEd entrance examination determines admission to the 2026–28 academic session in government and private teacher education institutes across Bihar.
As per the result statistics released by BSEB, a total of 2,23,835 candidates appeared for the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026. Out of these, 1,65,609 candidates successfully qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 73.99%.
The entrance examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 8 to June 22, 2026.
To qualify the examination:
General (Unreserved): Minimum 35% marks
Reserved Categories: Minimum 30% marks
The examination consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and was conducted over a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Admissions to the 2026–28 DElEd programme will be conducted on the basis of the merit list prepared from candidates' entrance examination scores.
According to BSEB, admissions will be offered in:
60 Government Teacher Education Institutes with 9,100 seats
246 Private Affiliated Teacher Education Institutes with 21,650 seats
Seat allotment will be carried out according to the Bihar reservation policy, seats reserved for Urdu, and Arts, Commerce, and Science streams, along with the candidates' preferred colleges.
Candidates who qualify the entrance examination will have to submit the Common Application Form (CAF) online. The board will announce the detailed counselling and CAF registration schedule separately.
Along with the DElEd results, BSEB has also declared the DPEd First-Year (2025–27) and Second-Year (2024–26) examination results.
According to the board:
Total candidates appeared: 149
Candidates qualified: 132
Overall pass percentage: 88.59%
Candidates can access their DPEd results through the official DPEd result portal.
Candidates who are dissatisfied with their DPEd examination marks can apply for scrutiny (re-evaluation) from August 10 to August 13, 2026.
The scrutiny application must be submitted online by paying a fee of ₹200 per subject through the designated scrutiny portal.

Enter your Application ID and Date of Birth.
Submit the details.
Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
Qualified candidates should keep an eye on the official website for the Common Application Form (CAF) schedule, counselling dates, choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification process. Admission to the 2026–28 DElEd programme will be based on the merit list prepared from the entrance examination scores.
