Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced a final opportunity for candidates who were absent during the earlier document verification (DV) process conducted for recruitment to posts under the Bihar sports service cadre. Eligible candidates who could not appear for DV during the scheduled dates are required to report to the BPSC office in Patna on August 20, 2026, to complete the verification process. 

According to the latest BPSC notice, the commission had conducted document verification for candidates who appeared in the written objective and subjective competitive examination from June 18 to June 20, 2026. Candidates who remained absent during this period have now been given one final opportunity to complete their document verification.

BPSC Recruitment 2026: Posts Covered

The recruitment is being conducted under the Bihar Sports Service cadre of the Sports Department, Bihar. The posts covered under the recruitment include:

• District Sports Officer

• Assistant Director (Sports)

• Assistant Director (Youth)

• Lecturer in S.H. and Physical Education Colleges

Candidates who were shortlisted for the document verification process but could not attend during the earlier schedule should take note of the revised opportunity.

BPSC Final Document Verification Date

The final document verification for absent candidates will be held on August 20, 2026, at the BPSC office in Patna.

Candidates appearing for DV on August 20 should follow all the instructions and requirements mentioned in the document verification programme issued by BPSC on June 5, 2026.
