New Delhi: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially declared the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha Phase 5 Result 2026. Candidates who appeared for the competency examination can now check their scorecards by visiting the official website, bsebsakshamta.com
According to BSEB, 14,512 teacher candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 4,353 qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 30%. The qualified candidates include 1,870 male and 2,483 female teachers.
The Sakshamta Pariksha was conducted from June 5 to June 8, 2026, for teachers appointed by local bodies in Bihar. The examination covered teachers working in primary, middle, secondary, and higher secondary schools, along with physical education teachers and librarians.
As per the BSEB press release, a cumulative 2,71,133 teacher candidates have successfully qualified across all five phases of the Sakshamta Pariksha conducted so far.
Candidates were required to secure the following minimum marks to qualify:
General Category: 40%
Backward Class (BC): 36.5%
Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 34%
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Women, and Differently-Abled Candidates: 32%
Earlier, the board had released the provisional answer key on June 18, 2026, and candidates were allowed to submit objections until June 21, 2026, before the final result was announced.

Candidates who have qualified in the competency examination will now be required to participate in the document verification and district-level counselling process. During counselling, officials will verify educational certificates, service records, identity documents, and biometric details.
After successful verification, eligible candidates will receive their official allotment or joining letter, confirming their status as regular state government teachers.
Candidates who are unable to qualify in Phase 5 may get another opportunity to appear in future phases of the Sakshamta Pariksha, as per the norms prescribed by the Bihar School Examination Board.
