DU BTech Admissions 2026: Spot Round 2, Mid-Entry for CW, Ward Quota; Allotment on August 17

New Delhi: The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the admission schedule for BTech Spot Round 2, mid-entry, and Round 2 admissions under the Children of War Widows (CW) and Ward Quota for the academic session 2026-27.

According to the latest admission notification, the DU BTech mid-entry window for fresh candidates will remain open until 5 pm on August 13, 2026. The university will announce the BTech Spot Round 2 allotment result on August 17.

Candidates allotted BTech seats in Spot Round 2 will have to accept their allotment by 5 pm on August 17. The university’s technology department will then verify and approve the online applications submitted for BTech admissions through the spot round.

DU BTech Admission 2026: CW, Ward Quota Schedule

DU has also announced the schedule for Round 2 allotment under the Children of War Widows (CW) and Ward Quota.

The Round 2 allotment results for these categories will be declared on August 18, 2026. Candidates allotted seats will be required to complete the online admission fee payment for the BTech programme by 5 pm on August 21.

The university has clarified that mid-entry will not be permitted for the CW and Ward supernumerary quotas.

DU BTech Admissions 2026: Vacant Seats

The University of Delhi has also released the category-wise list of vacant seats for its BTech programmes.

Among the three programmes, BTech EE has the highest number of listed vacant seats, including 22 in the UR category and 18 in OBC-NCL.

DU CSAS UG Admissions 2026: Upgrade and Spot Round Schedule

Apart from BTech admissions, DU has also announced the schedule for Upgrade Round 2 and Spot Admission Round 1 under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2026-27.

The schedule covers Round 2 admissions for CW, ECA, Sports and performance-based programmes, including Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), and Physical Education, Health Education and Sports (PE, HE and S).

The CSAS upgrade and preference reorder window will remain open until 12 noon on August 17, 2026. The upgraded allotment result along with auto-acceptance will be announced as per the university’s schedule. 

The Round 2 allotment results for CW, ECA, Sports and performance-based programmes will be declared on August 19.

Candidates who receive an allotment will have to accept their seats by 11:59 pm on August 20, while colleges will verify and approve applications by 11:59 pm on August 21. The last date for online fee payment is 11:59 pm on August 22.
