New Delhi: The University of Delhi (DU) has officially released the First Seat Allotment List for Undergraduate Admissions 2026 through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG). Candidates who registered for DU UG Admission 2026 can now log in to the CSAS portal and check their allotted college and programme.
Admissions are being conducted based on CUET UG 2026 scores. After downloading the allotment result, candidates must accept their allotted seat within the prescribed timeline. Colleges will verify the submitted documents before candidates complete the fee payment to confirm admission.
According to the university schedule, applicants who receive a seat in Round 1 should carefully review their allotted college, upload the required documents (if requested), and pay the admission fee before the deadline. Failure to complete these steps may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Once a seat is allotted, candidates need to:
Log in to the CSAS portal.
Accept the allotted seat.
Wait for document verification by the allotted college.
Pay the admission fee within the specified period.
Monitor the portal for further updates regarding upgrades or subsequent rounds.
Students who are not satisfied with their allotted programme may also have the option to participate in the next allocation round, subject to the university's admission policy.
The first round is expected to witness high cut-offs for popular programmes such as B.Com (Hons.), B.A. (Hons.) Economics, B.Sc. Computer Science, Political Science, Psychology, and top colleges including Hindu College, SRCC, Miranda House, Hansraj College, and Lady Shri Ram College.
The actual closing scores may vary depending on the programme, category, seat availability, and applicants' preferences.
Candidates are advised to rely only on official announcements for admission updates and avoid misinformation circulating on social media.
