New Delhi: The University of Delhi (DU) has released the DU UG 2026 third merit list on August 8, 2026. Candidates who participated in the undergraduate admission process can check their allotted seats through the official DU UG admission portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in or the DU website.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the latest round are required to accept their allotted seats between August 9 and August 11, 2026. Applicants should complete the seat acceptance process within the prescribed deadline to remain eligible for the next stages of admission.

DU UG 3rd Merit List 2026: How to Check

Candidates can follow these steps to check their DU UG 2026 merit list and allotted seat:

  1. Visit the official DU UG admission portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in or the DU website.

  2. Look for the latest UG Admission 2026 notification.

  3. Click on the relevant UG Admissions 2026 Merit List link.

  4. Check the merit list and allotted seat details displayed on the screen.

  5. Search for your name or application number.

  6. Download or save the merit list and allotment details for future reference.

Candidates who receive an allotment should carefully review their course and college details before accepting the seat.

DU UG Admission 2026: Seat Allocation Crosses 86%

According to official data shared by Delhi University, 2,08,043 candidates have completed Phase 2 registration out of 2,18,284 successful registrations.

The university has considered 15,942,385 unique college and programme preferences during the admission process. So far, a total of 93,033 students have been allocated seats, including 42,019 male and 51,014 female candidates.

The overall seat allocation rate has reached 86.1%, indicating strong participation in the DU undergraduate admission process.

DU UG Admission 2026: Tie-Breaking Criteria

In cases where two or more candidates have the same CUET score for a DU merit list, the tie will be resolved using the prescribed criteria. Candidates' Class 12 marks and age will be considered for resolving such ties.

Applicants who have received a seat allocation should complete the acceptance, document verification and fee payment formalities within the specified deadlines.

Candidates who fail to confirm their allotted seats within the prescribed timeline may lose the allocation, and their DU admission may be automatically terminated. Therefore, applicants are advised to check the official DU admission portal regularly and complete all required steps before the deadline.
