According to the university's counselling schedule, candidates will be able to complete registration, fee payment, mandatory document upload and choice filling from 4 pm on August 19 through the official IPU admission portals.
The last date to complete registration, fee payment, document upload and choice filling is August 21, 2026, up to 11:59 pm. Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS programme through GGSIP University counselling are required to complete the registration process within the specified deadline.
The application fee is Rs 2,500. Candidates must also fill in their preferred institute-course combinations during the choice-filling window, as submitting choices is mandatory for participation in the online seat allotment process.
Candidates participating in the counselling process can select their preferred colleges from the institutions offering MBBS seats.

Choice filling is mandatory for seat allotment. Candidates who fail to submit their choices within the prescribed period will not be considered for online seat allotment.
After completing online counselling registration, candidates must select their preferred institute-course combinations in order of preference. These choices will be considered for seat allotment once the choice-filling window closes.
Candidates are advised to fill in as many eligible choices as possible to improve their chances of securing a seat. Candidates can check previous admission rank and cutoff data on the university website and counselling portal before filling their preferences.
Candidates should carefully review their choices before submitting them. They are also advised to save the submitted preferences and take a printout for future reference.
For subsequent counselling rounds, candidates may be allowed to edit, modify, add or delete their choices after the Round 1 seat allotment, as per the university's counselling process.
The university has also issued instructions regarding the 85% Delhi State Quota seats in MBBS programmes at North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital.
As per the notice, candidates who have studied Classes 11 and 12 at a recognised school or college in Delhi and passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in Delhi will be eligible for these Delhi State Quota seats.
The university has advised NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates applying for the MBBS programme to upload their Class 11 marksheet along with their Class 12 marksheet in a single PDF while completing the admission application.
Candidates and their parents are also advised to check the location, academic facilities, infrastructure, hostel and transportation facilities of the participating colleges before submitting their preferences.
