New Delhi: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the online registration process for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XVI) to recruit more than 10,000 Customer Service Associate (CSA) posts in participating public sector banks. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official IBPS website by August 21, 2026.
Candidates will be selected through a two-stage recruitment process, comprising the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination.
Candidates applying for the recruitment should possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
Applicants must have obtained their graduation result on or before August 21, 2026. They should also possess working knowledge of computers, as required for the post.
As of August 1, 2026, candidates must:
Be at least 20 years old
Not be more than 28 years old
Applicants should have been born between August 2, 1998, and August 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
The basic pay for the Customer Service Associate (CSA) post starts at ₹24,050, along with applicable allowances and other service benefits as per the policies of the allotted bank.
Candidates are required to pay the application fee online.
SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen and Disabled Ex-servicemen: ₹175 (including GST)
All Other Categories: ₹850 (including GST)
The recruitment process consists of two stages:
Preliminary Examination
Main Examination
Only candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination.
The preliminary exam will include 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks from the following sections:
English Language
Numerical Ability
Reasoning Ability
Candidates will get 20 minutes for each section, with separate sectional timings. They must secure the prescribed cut-off marks in each section to qualify for the Main Examination.
The Main Examination will consist of 160 objective questions carrying 200 marks from:
General/Financial Awareness
General English
Reasoning Ability
Quantitative Aptitude
Candidates will have 125 minutes to complete the examination, with sectional timings.
Correct Answer: +1 mark
Incorrect Answer: -0.25 mark (one-fourth negative marking)
Unanswered Question: No marks awarded or deducted

Log in with the generated credentials.
Fill in the online application form.
Upload the required documents.
Pay the application fee online.
