The launch of the B.Pharm. programme expands MUJ's professional education offerings in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. According to the university, the programme is designed to provide students with scientific knowledge, practical skills, research aptitude and ethical values required for careers in the evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
The PCI-approved programme will combine theoretical learning, laboratory training, industry exposure and research-oriented education. The university said the course is intended to provide students with opportunities to develop both academic knowledge and practical understanding of pharmaceutical sciences.
The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at MUJ will provide students with access to advanced laboratories, smart classrooms, seminar halls and modern research facilities. The programme will also focus on innovation, interdisciplinary learning, industry engagement and holistic student development.
The university said these elements are aimed at strengthening students' practical and research-based skills throughout the programme. The B.Pharm. initiative also draws on the Manipal group's long-standing presence in healthcare, education and research.
