Patna: Jan Suraaj Party founder and newly elected Bankipur MLA Prashant Kishor has announced plans to facilitate private-sector employment for at least 10,000 youths from his assembly constituency within the next two years.

Addressing a public gathering in Bankipur, Kishor said educated but unemployed youngsters could submit their CVs at the Jan Suraaj office. He said he would use his professional network and contacts across the country to help qualified candidates secure private-sector jobs.

Kishor said that initially, employment opportunities could be available both within Bihar and in other parts of the country. He added that if the Jan Suraaj Party comes to power in Bihar, efforts would also be made to create and facilitate more employment opportunities within the state.

Focus on Education and Social Welfare

Along with employment, Kishor said improving the quality of education in government schools would be another priority. He claimed that efforts would be made to improve government schools within a year so that parents would prefer enrolling their children in these institutions.

He also spoke about support for needy families, including food grains and social security pensions.

Kishor further said that if government schools fail to improve sufficiently, he would take responsibility for helping families enroll their children in private schools and meet their fees, according to his statement at the gathering.

Prashant Kishor Condemns Lathi Charge on Students

Kishor also criticized police action against students protesting in New Delhi's Jantar Mantar and Jharkhand. Condemning the use of force against protesting students, he said governments should not expect young people to be intimidated by police action.

He warned that unemployment and other unresolved issues among young people could continue to fuel public discontent if authorities fail to address them in time.

The announcement of 10,000 private jobs has placed youth employment, education, and social security among the key issues highlighted by Kishor following his election as the Bankipur MLA.
