The University of Worcester in the United Kingdom has announced merit-based
scholarships of up to £3,000 (approximately ₹3.58 lakh) per year for Indian
students enrolling in postgraduate programs starting January 2026.
Students applying for the January intake will be
able to choose from a wide range of master’s courses, including MBA, MSc Human
Resource Management, MSc International Management, MSc Marketing, MSc Project
Management, MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and MSc Global
Sustainable Management.
Beyond academics, Worcester is offering
students the opportunity to undertake six- or 12-month professional placements
with employers, allowing them to gain real-world experience and strengthen
their CVs.
Dr Scott Andrews, Head of Worcester Business
School, said the university places strong emphasis on preparing students for
the global workforce. “The placements and
projects with real companies provide practical, hands-on experience that truly
benefits our students. Working alongside peers from different countries also
opens their eyes to new perspectives,” he noted.
The university accepts a range of English proficiency tests for admission, including IELTS, Pearson, and Cambridge certificates. For postgraduate programs, applicants typically require an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no band below 5.5) or Pearson 63.
Worcester also offers a Centre for Academic English and Skills to help
students strengthen language proficiency before starting their degree.
Additionally, students who completed a BA,
BSc, or LLB at Worcester and return within two years to pursue a full-time
master’s or PhD are eligible for a 20% tuition fee discount.
