The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for
candidates applying for the UGC NET December 2025 examination, urging aspirants
to ensure their Aadhaar and Unique Disability ID (UDID) details are accurate
and up to date before submitting application forms.
The agency emphasized that the Aadhaar card must
reflect the correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10 certificate), latest
photograph, address, and father’s name. Candidates with disabilities should
also verify that their UDID cards are valid and renewed, as required.
The online application process for UGC NET
December 2025 is already underway. Eligible candidates can apply through the
official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in
from October 7 to November 7. The
exam, covering 85 subjects, will
be held in December 2025 and January 2026,
determining eligibility for Junior
Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor posts, and PhD admissions
in Indian universities and colleges.
How to
apply for UGC NET December 2025:

Visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in
and read the instructions.
2.
Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
3.
Fill in personal, academic, and exam details.
4.
Upload photograph, signature, and UDID (if applicable).
5.
Pay the application fee online and submit.
6.
Download and print the confirmation page.
The NTA has also announced a correction window from November 10 to 12, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary changes in their forms. However, details regarding the exam city intimation slip, admit card release, and exact examination schedule will be shared later on the official website.
