The programmes, hosted at IIMB’s upcoming Jigani campus, offer two degree options:

·        BSc (Hons) in Data Science, with a minor in Economics

·        BSc (Hons) in Economics, with a minor in Data Science

The BSc (Hons) in Data Science integrates technical training in algorithms, data structures, stochastic processes, and psychology with practical business applications. The curriculum emphasizes real-world problem solving, analytical rigor, and hands-on learning through internships, global immersion, and leadership development. Graduates will earn a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science.

The BSc (Hons) in Economics blends core economic theory, econometrics, statistical methods, and behavioral insights with applied data science. Students will develop analytical depth, critical thinking, and professional skills, supported by internships, global exposure, and life-skill enhancement. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics.

Both programmes have been designed under the National Education Policy (NEP) to combine academic rigor with experiential, real-world learning.

Eligibility criteria:

·        Applicants must be 20 years or younger by August 1, 2026

·        Completion of Class 12 (or equivalent) with Mathematics as a subject

·        Minimum 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 10

Each programme will admit 40 students, ensuring small cohort sizes and personalised attention. The IIM Bangalore Undergraduate Admissions Test (IIMB UGAT) will be held on December 13, 2025, followed by in-person interviews in January 2026. Final admission offers will be announced by February 28, 2026.
