IIT Madras Global, in collaboration with GATES, is set to host the GATES India ICT Channel Summit 2025 from November 5 to 7 at the IIT Madras Research
Park. The three-day event will bring together over 250 ICT leaders, innovators,
policymakers, and startups to explore strategies for elevating India from a
service-driven economy to a global technology powerhouse.
Organised with support from IITM Research Park and the IITM Incubation Cell, the summit aims to
bridge research, enterprise, and innovation—creating a platform where
technology creators meet market enablers. Participants can expect business matchmaking, product showcases,
workshops, and dialogue sessions, designed to strengthen the ICT
channel ecosystem.
Key discussions will focus on AI-driven strategies, Made-in-India platforms,
women’s leadership in technology, and partner ecosystem transformation.
A marquee session, “India Inc at Full
Throttle: From Innovation to Global Impact”, on November 6, will feature representatives
from IIT Madras, Redington Group, and
Zoho Corporation, highlighting the trio of forces shaping India’s
innovation economy: academia, enterprise, and homegrown tech.
“This
summit connects brilliant minds who build with enterprises that scale,
extending IIT Madras’ mission beyond campus boundaries,” said Thirumalai Madhavnarayan, CEO of IIT Madras
Global. Nat Malupillai, Group
CEO of IIT Madras Research Park, added that it offers innovators and
vendors a unique opportunity to collaborate with IIT’s brightest minds to
generate positive societal impact.
The summit will also feature one-to-one meetings between startups and ICT
stakeholders, alongside skill-building sessions for young founders and
professionals. Delegates will include representatives from over 30 cities, leading OEMs in cloud, security, and AI, and
startups incubated at IIT Madras.
By hosting the event, IIT Madras Global reaffirms its position as a hub for innovation and enterprise-scale transformation, propelling India’s technology ambitions onto the global stage.
