Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has opened the doors for 340 Probationary Engineer (E-II Grade) positions across multiple engineering disciplines, offering a lucrative career with an annual CTC of around ₹13 lakh.
The online application process began on October
24, 2025, and will continue until November
14, 2025. Interested candidates can apply via BEL’s official website: bel-india.in.
The vacancies are spread across key branches: 175 in Electronics, 109 in Mechanical, 42 in
Computer Science, and 14 in Electrical. Reservation-wise, 139 posts are for General, 34 for EWS, 91 for OBC,
51 for SC, and 25 for ST candidates.
Eligibility criteria are strict yet inclusive:
unreserved candidates must hold a first-class
BE, B.Tech, or equivalent degree in relevant engineering streams,
while SC, ST, and PwD candidates can apply with a pass-class degree. The
maximum age limit is 25 years. Candidates with AMIE/AMIETE/GIETE certifications are also eligible.
Selection will be through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and an interview. The CBT carries 85 marks and the interview 15 marks, with the test spanning 120 minutes and consisting of 125 questions (100 technical, 25 aptitude and reasoning).
A negative marking of 0.25 per wrong
answer applies. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General, OBC, EWS and 30% for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates.
The application fee is ₹1180 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates,
while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempt.
Successful candidates will join BEL as Probationary Engineers with a salary ranging between ₹40,000 and ₹1,40,000, offering one of the most competitive entry-level packages in public sector engineering.
