In a major boost for Indian students aspiring to study abroad, Macquarie University in Australia has announced scholarships worth ₹28.5 lakh under two key initiatives — India’s Early Acceptance Scholarship and the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship.
The India’s Early Acceptance Scholarship provides ₹5.7 lakh (A$10,000) in the second semester of the first year, followed by ₹2.8 lakh (A$5,000) per semester for the remaining duration of the program.
The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship adds a one-time grant of ₹5.7 lakh, taking the total benefit for a four-year degree program to approximately ₹28.5 lakh.
These scholarships are open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and are designed to reward academic excellence while easing the financial burden of international education.
Beyond these flagship programs, Indian applicants can also explore other merit-based awards such as the Faculty of Science and Engineering Sustainability Scholarship (A$5,000) and the Faculty of Science and Engineering FIRST Australia Scholarship (A$5,000 per year).
