The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai, in partnership with Jaro Education, has launched a two-year Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA–BPGP), targeted at working professionals who want to upgrade their managerial capabilities without interrupting their careers.
The programme is designed to merge rigorous academic instruction with
real-time workplace application, providing a flexible pathway to an IIM
credential.
A flexible,
practice-oriented management programme
Delivered in a blended format, the MBA–BPGP combines live online classes
with two intensive one-week on-campus immersion modules held mid-way and at the
end of the programme. These sessions are intended to provide direct engagement
with IIM Mumbai’s faculty, peer interaction, and exposure to the institute’s
learning ecosystem.
The curriculum spans more than 1,200 hours of
instruction, covering core and emerging domains including Operations,
Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Sustainability, and digital transformation.
The programme’s design emphasises strategic and analytical thinking, equipping
participants to apply classroom concepts immediately within their
organizations.
Eligibility
and admissions framework
The programme is open to executives, managers, entrepreneurs, and
professionals from government and private sectors with a minimum of three years
of full-time work experience after graduation. Applicants must hold a
bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
Admission requires a valid score in CAT, GMAT,
GRE, or IMAT (IIM Mumbai Admission Test) obtained within the past five years.
Candidates will be evaluated on academic record, professional experience,
entrance test performance, and other selection parameters determined by the
institute.
IIM Mumbai said the MBA–BPGP is designed to build competencies in strategy, leadership, innovation, and analytical reasoning while aligning learners with the evolving needs of contemporary industry. Participants will also receive access to the institute’s digital library and academic resources, strengthening both the academic and applied dimensions of the programme.
