The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a revised and accelerated
schedule for Round 2 of Neet PG 2025 counselling for the 50% All India Quota
(AIQ), shifting key dates and urging candidates to prepare for a tighter
timeline.
According to the updated notification, Round 2
online registration will now open at 12 pm
on December 5 and remain active until 12 noon on December 9, with the payment gateway
accessible until 3 pm the same day.
Choice filling and locking will begin on December 6 and continue until 11:55 pm on December 9, while the
dedicated choice-locking window will remain open from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on December 9.
Seat allotment processing has been scheduled for
December 10 and 11, with the
results to be declared on December 12, 2025.
Candidates allotted seats will need to report
to their respective institutions between December
13 and 21. Verification of data for those who join will be conducted
from December 22 to 23.
These changes come as part of the MCC’s
four-round counselling structure, which includes Round 3 and an Online Stray
Vacancy Round, depending on seat availability.
The revised schedule follows earlier
modifications to the seat matrix, in which 239 PG seats were added across deemed
universities while 235 PG-DNB seats were removed from government and private
colleges.
