IIM Ranchi, FPSB India launch executive program in advanced financial planning and digital finance

Indian Institute of Management Ranchi has partnered with FPSB India, the Indian subsidiary of Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd, to launch an executive program in Advanced Financial Planning and Digital Finance aimed at working professionals seeking to strengthen their expertise in personal finance and wealth management.

The program is designed to enable participants to pursue the globally recognized Certified Financial Planner certification while building advanced capabilities in financial analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital finance. Applications for the program are open until May 30, 2026, and the course will commence in June 2026.

According to an official release, the 12-month hybrid program combines the technical rigor of the CFP curriculum with IIM Ranchi’s academic strengths in financial analytics, AI, sustainable finance and digital transformation. The program requires a minimum enrolment of 30 participants.

Eligibility and curriculum

Graduates with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree following the 10+2+3 academic structure or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.

The curriculum is designed to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required in modern wealth management. Key areas of study include AI-driven wealth planning, financial analytics, behavioural finance, alternative investments, sustainable finance and ESG frameworks, global regulatory compliance, digital finance strategy, and portfolio engineering.

The programme will be led by Prof. Manish Bansal and Prof. Raveesh Krishnankutty.

fee structure

The total programme fee is ₹5,00,000 plus GST, payable to IIM Ranchi in two instalments:

·        ₹3,00,000 plus GST as the first instalment

·        ₹2,00,000 plus GST as the second instalment

The fee covers learning materials, online access, and campus immersion components, ensuring participants gain both academic exposure and experiential learning opportunities.
