The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to announce the Class 12 (Intermediate) results by next week, followed by Class 10 (Matric) results by the end of March, chairman Anand Kishore confirmed on March 20.
Addressing reporters, Kishore said the board has entered the final stage of result preparation. “We are currently finalising the data and results,” he said, indicating that both evaluation and tabulation processes are nearing completion.
Students will be able to access their results on the official websites — biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and results.biharboardonline.com. To check their scores, candidates will need their roll code and roll number as mentioned on their admit cards.
The announcement brings relief to over 30 lakh students across the state who have been awaiting their results. Continuing its trend of early declarations in recent years, the board is expected to release both Intermediate and Matric results within March.
The Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations were conducted from February 2 to 13, 2026, while the Class 10 (Matric) exams were held between February 17 and 25 across Bihar. Following the exams, the board had released provisional answer keys for objective-type questions.
This year, approximately 13.18 lakh students appeared for the Intermediate exams at 1,762 centres statewide. In comparison, last year saw 12,92,313 candidates across 1,677 centres, including 6,41,847 girls and 6,50,466 boys.
For Class 10, around 15.85 lakh students registered for the 2026 examinations.
The 2026 results will be issued in the form of digital marksheets, detailing subject-wise scores, total marks, division, and pass/fail status. Students can use these provisional marksheets for immediate reference until original certificates are distributed.
Additionally, the Intermediate results will include stream-wise performance data for Science, Commerce, and Arts. As per tradition, BSEB will announce the results during a press conference, along with toppers’ names, pass percentages, and other key statistics.
