The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has extended the evaluation deadline for Class 10 and Class 12 board exam answer sheets to April 4, 2026, citing delays caused by public holidays.

In an official notice dated March 31, the board confirmed that the checking process, initially scheduled from March 18 to April 1, could not be completed on time due to holidays such as Eid al-Fitr and Ram Navami. Following requests from district authorities, the timeline has now been revised.

The board has directed all evaluation centres to complete the checking process “with integrity” within the extended deadline. Examiners have also been instructed to submit evaluated answer sheets and related documents to regional offices by April 5.

UPMSP officials are currently assessing an estimated 3 crore answer sheets of over 52 lakh students across multiple centres under strict monitoring mechanisms to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

While the extension raises concerns over a potential delay, the board has not issued any official confirmation regarding changes to the result schedule. Based on current trends, results for both classes are still expected around mid-to-late April, likely after April 20.

Once declared, students will be able to access their results on the official website using their roll numbers and required credentials.
