The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the second round
of NEET UG Counselling 2025 will begin on August
29, with the detailed schedule to be published shortly on the official
portal, mcc.nic.in.
In its official notification, MCC said the
revised timeline was necessary to accommodate newly approved MBBS seats. “In order to include newly authorized MBBS seats in Round-2 of UG
Counselling 2025, the competent authority has decided to start Round-2 from
29th Aug., 2025, tentatively. The revised schedule will be published shortly,”
the notice stated.
The national counselling process, conducted by
MCC, covers admissions to MBBS, BDS, and
allied courses under the 15% All
India Quota (AIQ) in government medical and dental colleges. The
remaining 85% seats are filled
through state-level counselling based on NEET UG scores.

Enter required details, create a password, and submit
the form

Pay the registration fee and save the confirmation page

Download and print the filled counselling form for

With Round 1 admissions already secured for thousands of aspirants, Round 2 will offer candidates another crucial chance to grab MBBS and BDS seats across India—this time with additional seats on offer.
