The Indira Gandhi National Open University has
extended the deadline for submission of assignments for the June 2026 Term-End
Examinations (TEE), offering relief to students enrolled across Open and
Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes.
According to an official notification, students now have until
April 30, 2026, to submit their assignments. The extension applies to all
eligible learners, including those enrolled in international initiatives such
as GOAL (Guyana Online Academy of Learning) and EVBB (e-VidyaBharati).
The university has reiterated that the submission process remains
unchanged. Students are required to submit both hard copies and soft copies of
their assignments. While hard copies must be sent to designated study centres,
digital submissions are to be uploaded through the official Learning Management
System (LMS) portal.
GOAL and EVBB are key online education programmes offered by
IGNOU, primarily aimed at expanding access to higher education for
international students.
The university has underlined that this is the final extension, urging students to adhere strictly to the revised timeline. Assignments submitted after April 30, 2026, may not be accepted, it cautioned.
