Jamia Millia Islamia has extended the application deadline for admissions to its undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session, offering candidates additional time to complete the process.

Applicants can now submit their forms on the official admission portal — admission.jmi.ac.in — until April 10, 2026.

The extension covers a wide range of programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, postgraduate diploma, advanced diploma and certificate courses offered by the university. The decision follows multiple requests from candidates seeking more time to complete their applications.

In an official notice, the university said, “Due to several requests received from applicants, the last date to apply for admission in various programs of JMI is extended till April 10, 2026.”

Candidates have been advised to complete their applications within the revised timeline, with the university making it clear that no submissions will be accepted beyond the deadline. “All interested candidates are advised to complete the application process within the extended deadline. No applications will be accepted after the specified date,” the notice added.
