The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced a major recruitment drive for 9,175 constable posts, with the online application process set to begin on April 20, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal — CRPF recruitment portal — until May 19, 2026.

The vacancies span multiple trades, offering opportunities across technical and support roles within the force.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for constable posts must be between 21 and 27 years of age as on January 1, 2026, with birth dates falling between January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2005.

For specific trades—including Motor Mechanic Vehicle, Cobbler, Carpenter, Tailor, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Gardner, Bugler, Painter, Cook, Barber cum Hair Dresser, Washer Man & Women, Water Carrier, Safai Karamchari, Mason, Plumber, and Electrician—the age limit is 18 to 23 years. Applicants for these roles must have been born between January 2, 2003, and January 1, 2008.

Selection process

The recruitment process will be conducted in multiple stages, including:

Candidates clearing PET and PST will be shortlisted for the CBT. The physical tests will be conducted using RFID-based systems and digital measurement tools to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Application fee

The examination fee is ₹100 per post for male candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC categories. Candidates from SC, ST categories, all female applicants, and ex-servicemen are exempted from fee payment.

The fee can be paid online through BHIM, UPI, net banking, or via debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and RuPay.
