NTA will announce further details regarding the exam cities, examination centres and admit cards separately through its official website.
NTA received several complaints from candidates regarding errors in the question papers of English, Commerce and Sociology. Following the complaints, the agency constituted a committee to examine the issues reported in the question papers.
The committee identified multiple types of errors, including factual, typographical and translation-related issues.
The issues reportedly included misspelled names of scholars, distorted book titles, errors in question wording, grammatical mistakes, gender and number agreement errors, punctuation-related issues and the use of non-standard terms for established concepts.
The committee also noted the repetition of some questions that had appeared in previous examinations.
Candidates appearing for the re-conducted UGC NET examinations will not be required to pay any additional examination fee. The re-examination will be conducted for candidates who appeared for the affected subjects in the June 2026 examination.
Candidates should regularly check the official NTA website for updates related to their exam city intimation slip, admit card and examination centre.
