New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for candidates who have qualified the written examination of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2026. Qualified candidates are required to submit the updated Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Personality Test/Interview.

The last date to complete and submit the application form is August 25, 2026, up to 6 pm. Candidates are advised to complete the process within the stipulated deadline, as no requests for changes or submission after the closing time will be entertained.

The IES/ISS 2026 written examination was conducted from June 19 to June 21, 2026. The examination result was declared on August 4, 2026. Candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test are required to complete the application process even if they do not need to make any changes to their previously submitted information.

Candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test can complete the application process by following these steps:

1. Visit the official UPSC online application portal.

2. Log in using the required credentials.

3. Access the application form for the IES/ISS Personality Test.

4. Update the required information and upload the relevant certificates and documents.

5. Review all details carefully and submit the completed application form.

6. Download the submitted form and keep a printed copy for future reference.

Original Documents Required for Personality Test

Candidates should keep the required original documents ready for verification at the time of the Personality Test. These may include documents supporting age, date of birth, educational qualification, community/category and physical disability, wherever applicable.

UPSC has made it clear that candidates are responsible for producing sufficient documentary proof in support of their candidature. Failure to produce the required original documents may result in the candidate not being allowed to appear before the Personality Test Board.
